No Medical Diagnosis or Treatment
Allumée Skin Aesthetics does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions. Our services are cosmetic and aesthetic in nature.

Results Are Not Guaranteed
Results vary from person to person. No treatment, product, package, device, skincare routine, or service guarantees a specific outcome.
Results may depend on many factors, including skin type, skin condition, age, genetics, hormones, medications, lifestyle, sun exposure, aftercare, home skincare, treatment consistency, and the body’s natural healing response.

Client Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk
By booking, purchasing, or receiving a treatment, the client acknowledges that all cosmetic and aesthetic treatments involve potential risks, including the possibility of irritation, allergic reaction, burns, pigmentation changes, infection, scarring, discomfort, delayed healing, unsatisfactory results, or other unexpected reactions. The client chooses to proceed voluntarily, based on their own decision, understanding, and acceptance of these risks.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Allumée Skin Aesthetics, its owners, staff, contractors, representatives, and service providers are not responsible or liable for any injury, reaction, damage, loss, complication, adverse outcome, dissatisfaction, or other issue that may occur during or after a service, including where the client had undisclosed contraindications, sensitivities, allergies, medical conditions, medication use, recent treatments, sun exposure, or failed to follow pre-care or aftercare instructions.

Failure to disclose accurate information may increase risk and may affect your results.
Consent Forms
Some services require consent forms, intake forms, patch testing, consultation, or treatment screening before proceeding. Signing a consent form does not remove your right to ask questions or decline treatment, but it confirms that you understand the treatment, possible risks, aftercare, and limitations.
Aftercare
Clients must follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions provided by Allumée Skin Aesthetics. Failure to follow instructions may increase the risk of irritation, burns, pigmentation, infection, delayed healing, or poor results.

Laser Hair Removal Disclaimer
Last Updated: May 13, 2026
Laser hair removal is a cosmetic service designed to reduce unwanted hair growth over a series of treatments. Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.
Results Vary
Laser hair removal provides hair reduction, not guaranteed permanent hair removal. The number of sessions required varies depending on hair colour, hair thickness, skin type, treatment area, hormones, medical conditions, medications, consistency, and individual response.
Maintenance sessions may be required.
Multiple Sessions Are Required
Hair grows in cycles, and laser is most effective on hairs in the active growth phase. For this reason, multiple treatments are usually required.
Skipping appointments, spacing treatments too far apart, waxing, plucking, tanning, or failing to follow instructions may affect results.
Possible Risks and Reactions
Possible reactions may include, but are not limited to:
- Redness
- Warmth
- Swelling around follicles
- Sensitivity
- Itching
- Temporary discomfort
- Burns
- Blistering
- Scabbing
- Hyperpigmentation
- Hypopigmentation
- Scarring
- Infection
- Unsatisfactory results
- Hair regrowth
- Paradoxical hair growth in rare cases
Client Responsibilities
Before laser hair removal, clients must disclose all relevant information, including medications, medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent tanning, sun exposure, self-tanner use, skin conditions, photosensitivity, history of pigmentation issues, and previous laser reactions.
Clients must follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions.
Shaving Policy
The treatment area must be shaved before the appointment unless instructed otherwise.
If the area is not properly shaved, a shaving fee may apply, the treatment area may be reduced, or the appointment may need to be rescheduled or cancelled.
Sun and Tanning
Clients must avoid tanning, excessive sun exposure, and self-tanning products before and after treatment as instructed. Treating recently tanned or sun-exposed skin may increase the risk of burns, pigmentation changes, and other complications.
Refusal or Delay of Treatment
Allumée Skin Aesthetics reserves the right to refuse or delay laser treatment if it is not safe or suitable, including but not limited to recent sun exposure, active skin irritation, contraindicated medication, incomplete forms, unsafe skin response, or failure to follow pre-care instructions.
Microneedling / DP4 Disclaimer
Last Updated: May 13, 2026
Microneedling is a cosmetic skin treatment that creates controlled microchannels in the skin to support the appearance of smoother texture, improved glow, and overall skin rejuvenation.
Results vary and are not guaranteed.
Treatment Suitability
Microneedling may not be suitable for every client. A consultation, intake form, and consent form may be required before treatment.
Microneedling may not be performed on clients with certain contraindications, including but not limited to active infection, open wounds, active acne flare-ups in the treatment area, cold sores, certain skin conditions, poor wound healing, certain medications, recent procedures, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or other health concerns.
Possible Reactions and Downtime
Possible reactions may include, but are not limited to:
- Redness
- Warmth
- Tightness
- Dryness

- Flaking or peeling
- Pinpoint bleeding
- Bruising
- Sensitivity
- Breakouts
- Itching
- Irritation
- Infection
- Hyperpigmentation
- Hypopigmentation
- Scarring
- Unsatisfactory results
Downtime varies from person to person. Clients must follow all aftercare instructions carefully.
Results and Treatment Series
Multiple sessions may be recommended for best visible improvement. Results may develop gradually and depend on skin condition, treatment plan, healing response, homecare, lifestyle, and consistency.
No specific result is guaranteed.
Client Responsibilities
Clients must disclose all relevant information before treatment, including medications, medical conditions, allergies, active skincare use, retinoids, acids, recent peels, laser, injectables, cosmetic procedures, skin infections, cold sore history, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any history of abnormal scarring or pigmentation.
Allumée Skin Aesthetics is not responsible for complications or poor outcomes caused by incomplete disclosure, failure to follow instructions, or use of contraindicated products before or after treatment.
Chemical Peel Disclaimer
Last Updated: May 13, 2026
Chemical peels and exfoliating treatments are cosmetic services designed to improve the appearance of skin texture, tone, congestion, dullness, and other visible skin concerns.
Results vary from person to person and are not guaranteed.
Peeling May or May Not Occur
Visible peeling is not guaranteed and is not the only sign that a treatment is working. Some peels create light flaking, while others may create little to no visible peeling.
Possible Reactions
Possible reactions may include, but are not limited to:
- Redness
- Warmth
- Tingling or stinging
- Dryness
- Tightness
- Flaking
- Peeling
- Itching
- Sensitivity
- Breakouts
- Irritation
- Burns
- Blistering
- Scabbing
- Hyperpigmentation
- Hypopigmentation
- Infection
- Scarring
- Unsatisfactory results
Client Responsibilities
Clients must disclose all medications, allergies, skin conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, recent sun exposure, recent tanning, active skincare use, retinoids, acids, exfoliants, acne medication, previous reactions, and recent cosmetic treatments.
Failure to disclose relevant information may increase the risk of adverse reactions.
Aftercare
Clients must follow aftercare instructions carefully. Picking, exfoliating, using active products too soon, tanning, excessive heat, sweating, or sun exposure may increase the risk of irritation, pigmentation, delayed healing, or poor results.
Allumée Skin Aesthetics is not responsible for complications caused by failure to follow pre-care or aftercare instructions.
